The Western world has no doubts - Danish design furniture is the most sought after.

Copenhagen Classic has its 20th anniversary in 2024 and has developed into one of the largest retailers of Danish design furniture, produced from 1930 to 1970. It is a family business run by Anders and Søren Stage. The success is due to great commitment, seriousness and skilled, dedicated employees.

The company is based on 2,500m2 in Herlev and has more than 2,000 items on its webshop, and if you are interested in Danish design, you cannot miss Copenhagen Classic. Only the best Danish designers and a handful of foreign ones are carried here, and here only the best quality is offered.

The business is run with a webshop and a showroom, where you book an appointment for a visit. This concept means that costs are kept at a lower level, so sellers can be offered a higher price for their used furniture, while buyers can count on fair and competitive prices.

The vast majority of the large selection are second-hand goods, completely in line with the growing focus on sustainability. But there may also be new design furniture from, among others Bankruptcy estates and businesses that have purchased too large lots. However, both used and new goods have in common that design and good craftsmanship means that they can be used and enjoyed for generations.

An international network makes it possible to have an efficient waiting list for customers who are looking for a specific product, if this is not already on the stock list.

As the webshop is updated with new items 2-3 times a week, there is always fresh inspiration to be found under the news tab on the front page.

Søren Stage states: "In our showroom you always meet Anders or me, because for us it is important that we meet our customers in person."
