About Poul Kjærholm's armchairs:
Kjærholm has over time designed a number of armchairs, where the ones he is best known for are the iconic PK-22 armchairs and the PK-31 series. His armchairs are often produced from leather and steel, giving his furniture a modern and clean look. At the same time, he also emphasized that his armchairs were mathematically correct, such as The PK-31 chair, where the seat height is exactly the same between the top and bottom of the chair.
Kjærholm's armchairs were produced by E. Kold Christensen from 1955-1982, when Fritz Hansen took over, and to this day still produces Kjærholm's furniture.
